Adam Vinton is an experienced finance professional who collaborates with clients and their advisors across a broad range of corporate and transactional needs, including mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, divestitures, spinouts, recapitalizations, restructuring, capital raising, bankruptcy, business formation, and more. He specializes in valuations of companies, securities, and intellectual property to develop fairness opinions, solvency opinions, surplus opinions, financial reporting for business combinations (ASC 805), goodwill impairment testing (ASC 350), fair value reporting, stock compensation (IRC 409A / ASC 718) reporting, and fundraising support. 

Adam helps his clients cut through complexity based on his unique background as an advisor, seasoned corporate finance leader, and investor. He works thoughtfully and collaboratively, partnering with clients and their representatives to understand their business objectives and financial risk profile in order to deliver services that are practical, precise, and aligned with their goals. 

Prior to his time with Redwood, Adam held finance roles across biotech, SaaS, energy, insurance, and professional staffing, as well as advisory positions with FTI Consulting and Moss Adams (now Baker Tilly). He obtained a degree with honors from the Lundquist College of Business at the University of Oregon and holds a certificate from the Stanford Graduate School of Business' Executive CFO program.
