Founder and Managing Partner | CFA, CPA
David co-founded Redwood in 2007 to help the early-stage start-ups he saw day to day get the right valuation. Before founding Redwood, David spent nine years as Controller at Alloy Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm. While at Alloy David also stepped in as CFO for many of Alloy’s portfolio companies, helping them with tax, accounting and financial consulting. Prior to Alloy David was a Tax Consultant at Ernst & Young.
David is a CFA Charterholder and a Certified Public Accountant. He received a BA in Accounting (1999) and an MS in Finance (2001) from Louisiana State University.
Antoinette joined Redwood in 2008, and helped bring further finance and venture capital knowledge to the team.
Prior to joining Redwood, Antoinette worked in the finance team at Bay Partners, a venture capital firm. Previous positions include Tax Specialist at Symantec Corporation for four years, and a Tax Consultant at Ernst & Young.
Antoinette is a Certified Public Accountant, she received a BS in Accounting (2001) from Santa Clara University.

Kris joined Redwood in 2014 after almost nine years in the valuation and financial consulting groups at large public accounting firms, including PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Moss Adams, and, most recently, Grant Thornton. He has also prepared numerous valuation reports ranging from intangible asset valuations to equity and complex financial instrument valuations.
Kris is a Certified Public Accountant. He received a BA in Business Administration (2005) with an emphasis in accounting from the University of Washington and an MA in Counseling Psychology (2013) from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology.

Tim has worked in finance since 1996 with a focus on business valuation since 2006. His background includes valuations for companies ranging in size from Fortune 500 to pre-revenue startups. Additionally, he has performed analyses for over 40 prominent venture capital and private equity firms. Prior to joining Redwood, Tim worked in investment management and business valuation for Bank of America, Deloitte & Touche, Duff & Phelps, and Quist Valuation.
Tim is a CFA Charterholder. He received a BA in Finance (1996) from the University of Alabama and an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship (2001) from the University of Georgia.

Tim has almost 20 years of experience in business valuation during which time he has completed over 700 valuations for both public and private companies. He has performed a wide range of valuations comprised of intellectual property, intangible assets, closely-held businesses, and equity interests for accounting and tax purposes including purchase price allocation (ASC 805), asset impairment testing (ASC 350 and ASC 360), M&A, and estate and gift and other tax reporting. Prior to joining Redwood, Tim worked in the valuation practices of American Appraisal Associates, Grant Thornton, and Duff & Phelps. While at American Appraisal, Tim spent five years in Japan helping to establish a branch office and managed many cross-border engagements. Earlier in his career, Tim held positions in credit analysis and collateral audit for Wells Fargo Bank.
Tim holds the Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) designation from the American Society of Appraisers in both Business Valuation and Intangible Asset Valuation. He received a BS in Business Administration from the California Polytechnic University – San Luis Obispo and an MBA in Business Administration from San Francisco State University.
